Visible Energy’s management team of experienced energy saving experts has worked together for more than 14 years, creating several new products and services for multiple startups in the consumer and Internet space.
Marco Graziano - CEO
Marco, co-founder, President and CEO of Visible Energy, is the visionary responsible for setting the company’s strategy and agendas. He is a Silicon Valley serial entrepreneur who has held engineering and management positions at VLSI Technology, Inc., Sun Microsystems and Olivetti Advanced Technology Center. In 1995, Marco founded and served as CEO of Internet appliance pioneer Teknema, Inc., which was acquired in November 1999 by Ravisent Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq:XEDA).
His more recent startups include MyCasa Network, Inc. a home automation and interactive security services company, and Eptascape, Inc., an advanced video analysis software company for the security market. Eptascape created the first MPEG-7 product and the GotoMyCamera online video security service and is licensing its MPEG-7 technology worldwide.

An avid motorcycle rider and a sustainability enthusiast, Marco builds his own electric bikes. He also participates in the City of Palo Alto’s Green Energy program and is proud to be "Another Palo Altan for Renewable Energy." Marco is committed to helping home and business owners monitor and save electricity to help the environment and reduce electric bills.
James Smith - CTO
Jamie is co-founder and the Chief Technology Officer of Visible Energy. Along with Marco, he was also part of the management teams of Teknema and MyCasa Network. Jamie has over 25 years of experience developing embedded system software for consumer and computing devices. Previously, he has setup remote development offices for Cygnus Solutions and VLSI Technology. Jamie also led operating system development for companies such as EO, Active Book and Acorn that were involved in the very early days of handheld computing equipment. He is pleased to be able to save electricity by using Visible Energy’s iPhone application to completely shut off the outlets for his television and other electronics overnight so that they stop draining power on standby mode.
Sara Del Gallo, Guido Cherici - Industrial Design
Sara and Guido are the industrial designers working with the Visible Energy team to create distinctively appealing products. They are the partners of Turin-based Italian design firm "Elastico Disegno." The two frequently see themselves as trampoline artists. Their job is to keep their balance when everything around them is in a state of elasticity, in order to evaluate the impact of their choice of materials during the critical conceptual stage of product design. Their motto: "In order to fly high, you must keep calm and start and finish with your feet on the ground." Sara and Guido are a regular presence at international design shows. Their previous industrial experience includes work for Olivetti, Pininfarina, Teague, Lego and the Leva Snodo group.
